Members of the CSV receive six copies of the Postscript magazine per annum. These are beautifully hand–addressed by CSV members and delivered by Australia Post. This quality magazine covers a wide range of topics related to lettering.
From September 2024, we introduce 'Digital membership' with reduced prices. Digital membership will allow members to view and download Postscript from ' Members area' . With this new category, you are saving not only some money but also trees by reducing magazine printing. Should you choose a 'Normal membership', you could get hard copies of Postscript delivered and access to downloadable magazine as well. Details are on 'Shop'.
Members can borrow from the beautiful library the Society maintains, whether they live in or out of Melbourne.
Receive information about workshops run by the Society – this is usually done by email. The workshops are available to members at a discount price and cover a wide range of calligraphy, book arts, and other art/craft-related topics.
Have access to the CSV members-only portal where you will have access to a range of practical videos and materials to name a few.
Important information
The membership cycle commences at the start of October and concludes at the end of September the subsequent year. For potential members enrolling at a later date, their membership will consistently terminate at the close of September in the following year. For those who become new members after April, the membership fee will be reduced by half. Nevertheless, it's important to note that this reduction will cease by the end of September, just before the new cycle begins at the start of October.

Early bird
If you pay your renewing membership in September before starting the cycle in October, you will be entered into a lucky draw for a $70 voucher, which you can use for any workshops. The family member membership option covers two adults and any dependent children under 18 living at the same address. One household will receive one Postscript, but workshop discounts will be applied individually. International member membership has a higher fee in order to cover the postage cost.
